Unesco Site My Son Sanctuary & Coconut Village

Tour program: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

In the morning at 7:30 am, our guide and driver will pick you up at hotel lobby for our tour “Unesco Site My Son Sanctuary & Coconut Village”. It takes approximately 1 hour to drive to My Son sanctuary holy land and arriving at 8:30 am.

8:30 am: The first stop will be to the majestic My Son Holy Land, one of the three UNESCO World Heritage sites in central Vietnam.It has the history of 1,300 years old, with beautiful temples and statues of God Shiva. Start the trip early in the morning, you can enjoy the memorized beauty of the sun rise in the temples, besides are mountains and clouds. These temples were built and rebuilt from 4th century to 13rd century with the Hindu remains of tower-temples decorated in bas-relief. Until now It is still a mystery for the instructions of Temple. How the Cham people built the temples without glue or cement is till a question to many scientists and archeologists. You’ll walk around  with our guide to see the historic and culture ruins of  the 13th century, and be brought back to the glorious time of the Champa civilization. During your visit to My Son, the guide will show you the remains of special brick tower, explain the origin and historical significance of the site including the meanings of each tower or monument. The trip to My Son will help you learn about the Champa Kingdom and their relationship with the temples at My Son. You can also enjoy the beautiful views of valley surrounding by jungles.

10:30 am: Relax with traditional Cham dancing show: We also enjoy the traditional Cham dance. They show local costumes and song with traditional  instrumental  accompaniment.

11:30am: Lunch at local restaurant

12:30 am: Enjoy a 30  minutes cruise excursion to Cam Thanh Coconut Village. Take a chance to try a basket boat and learn to use the fishing net with local fishermen.

3:30pm: Drop off at hotel.
