My Son holy land – once the capital city of Champa kingdom (around the 4th to 13th century). This large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 70 architectural works. They include temples and towers connecting to each other with complicated red brick designs. The major structure of cham architecture is tower, built to reflect the divinity of the king.
Tour program: 7:30 pm to 1:30 pm
Accompanied by your guide, you’ll walk through the sacred ruins dating back to the 13th century, once the spiritual and political capital of the Champa Kingdom. Your guide will explain the symbolism and history of the intricate brick towers, temples, and monuments – each with its own fascinating story and spiritual significance.
While there, enjoy a traditional Cham dance performance – a captivating display of local costumes, music, and cultural expression passed down through generations.
Around 11:00 am, we depart from My Son and head to a local family home for a delicious lunch and a hands-on cultural activity.
Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn how to make fresh rice noodles – the essential ingredient in Vietnam’s world-famous Phở. Guided step-by-step, you’ll discover how simple ingredients like rice flour and water are transformed into perfect noodle sheets.
On the way back, enjoy a peaceful 30-minute boat trip on a traditional wooden boat. Breathe in the fresh air, take in scenic river views.The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel around 1:30 pm.
